Getaway and leave the hustle, bustle and city smog behind, by entering a whole new world at Buck-A-Boo Acres, where Natural Environment and Peacefulness are both in abundance.

City skylines, skyscrapers and pavement are replaced with Pine trees, fresh air and the sound of a Hoot Owl calling out at dusk. See the Deer and the Moose coming to feed in the meadows.(Not to mention feeding at our hay bales!)

Then of course there are the inevitable Coyotes. You can take a walk, or cross-country ski or snow shoe (depending on the season) and watch the Beavers at work. The only "sass" around here comes from our cheeky Squirrels.

There Is So Much To Delight The Eye of The Beholder ---

Buck-A-Boo is a Natural Retreat where one can experience the beauty of our Northern Lights with their ever changing colours and movement. It is a natural phenomenon well worth seeing outside the confines of a lighted city street.

We cater to Group Getaways, but you can sneak off as a Couple or individually to seek some personal solitude for Yourself.

Wildflowers of many types abound. Pick your self some wild Strawberries or Raspberries, or go for a walk in the woods or just sit and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of our secluded hideaway.

If you are a bird lover, we can't actually lay claim to having seen a Bird of Paradise, but what we do have is a Paradise of birds. With so many different varieties this also makes it a treat for Birdwatchers too.

As for the Agriculture, we raise goats. Kidding time (April, May and June) can be hectic, but the new babies are quite a sight to behold. They are soft and cuddly and fun to watch as they play and then many times go to rest on or around our livestock guardian dogs.

You can cook your own meals in our large fully equipped kitchen, Bar-B-Que on the lodge barbeque or contract our staff cook. The choice is yours.
